The Bornell Cabin
The Bornell Cabin was built in London, Wisconsin in the year 1849. It was given to the Lake Mills - Aztalan Historical Society by Fred and Ruth Bornell and moved here in the Spring of 1958. It was completely rebuilt at that time. In 1982 the cabin was restored to it's original state by Lyle Lidholm and Associates. Please note that the numbering of the original logs and the "hung chimney" on the second floor. The replacement logs were donated by William Terry.
