The Petty Cabin
This cabin was built in 1843 for John Petty and his wife and their six children. They lived here while they built their permanent residence. This took them two years. Aft that time, the Pettys kept the cabin on the farm and it became the fist county schoolhouse of Waterloo, Wisconsin.
