Friday MORNING,FEBRUARY 24, 1843.
Celbraton of the 22nd February.: The Annniversary of Washington's birthday was celebrated with spirit and patriotism In this place. The day was very inclement, but the military and the citizens turned out in considerable numbers. Captam Snyder's company of Mount Vernon Guards and Captain Hawkin's company of Alexandria Riflemen paraded with a fine band of music. At the Lyceum Hall, after prayer by the Rev. Elias HARRISON, the Farewell Address was read by H. Allen Taylor, ESQ. and an Address on the principles of Washington, delivered by Epgar SNOWDEN, ESQ. At night there was a brilliant ball at the Theatre.
